Community-powered brand building across Europe

Monese is a fintech service that lets anyone in Europe open a current account in minutes, and manage their money straight from their phone.

It was designed as a solution to what banking should be: modern, smart and accessible everywhere in the world, available to anybody who chooses to live their life across more than one country.


My role

I set up and led a pan-European Content & Community unit designed to drive deeper engagement with audiences old and new, help build virality and network effects into the product, and express the brand's point of view through meaningful and captivating content across the full channel spectrum.

This included orchestrating the rebuilding of the brand's website to support 31 countries and 14 languages, running a foundational app store optimisation programme and consolidating in-house creative resources to better support marketing and product.
